Summer Solstice Celebration

Join us for our annual Summer Solstice Celebration in downtown Rockland. Then come down to our After Hours Dock Party and enjoy music and dancing from 6 – 10:30 PM. All events are FREE! The street Party is on Main Street, and the Dock party is at Journey’s End Marina at the end of Tillson Avenue. The Street Party is family friendly, and the Dock Party is Adults Only, 21+ with ID. No Cover Charge – Cash Only Bar.

Festival of Independence

Join us in Harbor Park on the 4th of July. Midcoast organizations team up to offer three days of fun over the Fourth of July holiday. Great Schooner Race

Maine’s tall ship fleet gathers for an exciting race from Islesboro to Rockland. This year marks the 41st anniversary of the Great Schooner Race, North America’s largest annual gathering of tall ships!

Maine Boats, Homes, & Harbors Show

The annual Maine Boats, Homes & Harbors will feature boats in the water, boats on land, marine vendors, fine furniture and homewares, art jewelry, architecture, and delicious food. Camden Windjammer Festival

Every Labor Day weekend, Camden hosts a windjammer celebration of maritime heritage. Throughout the day on Friday, Schooners from around Maine sail in and dock in our harbor—whether you’re a boat lover or not, it’s a spectacular site. After nightfall, fireworks officially kick off the weekend, and festivities continue throughout. When it comes to a community party, the crews, captains, craftspeople, business owners, residents, neighbors, and visitors really know how to have a great, family-friendly time in one of the world’s prettiest harbors. Join us for the Annual Camden International Film Festival. Better known as CIFF, this festival showcases the finest international documentary cinema. Recognized as one of the top 25 film festivals in the world for documentary films and filmmakers, the festival highlights work that shows dedication to craft and a unique and artistic approach to telling a darn good story. The festival utilizes beautiful and unusual venues in Camden, Rockport, and Rockland, Maine. Screenings are followed by intimate Q&A sessions with directors and industry professionals. Festivities over the weekend include panels, workshops, photographic exhibits, musical concerts and exclusive parties. CIFF gets bigger and better every year!

Hope Orchards Opening Weekend

This Pick Your Own orchard is a must for locals and visitors alike. Featuring 14 varieties of apples, we are the perfect fall excursion, just 6 miles from Camden. Our fresh cider is pressed on Fridays in season, and we often sell out by Sunday morning. Out retail stand also has pears and selected vegetables. Open September – October. Scenic Chairlift Rides Camden Snow Bowl
