Celebrating Life’s Simplicity - Come for the FOOD…leave with the memories
La Bella Vita is an Italian Restaurant designed around the theme of an authentic Italian town square with distinguished dining areas that overlook the Italian piazza (Public Square) and mercato (Market). Each area is individually designed and contributes to the warmth and unique Italian atmosphere. Upon entering La Bella Vita’s vibrant world, guests are drawn into the convivial Italian inspired bar area following the footprint of the local urban Italian wine shop (Enoteca). A term commonly used in Italy to refer to a place where one can find simple foods to accompany the wines served there.
A live action antipasto bar, pizziolas and wood fired oven set the theatrical culinary stage in the Italian Piazza…centered between the Enoteca Lounge and main dining room it focuses on the diverse flavors and soul of an Italian Salumeria. It provides the perfect place where guests can linger over small plates of antipasti and wine.
Opposite the antipasto bar is a lounge area with living room style seating, cozy fireplace, communal wine-tasting tables and a wall of etched glass featuring an ample stock of wine peaking through dimly lit glass cabinets. The walls at the other end of the lounge are covered with giant floor to ceiling slabs of slate, a place where daily specials are chalked up for everyone to see between large Italian wall murals.
Beyond the eye catching Enoteca lounge and bustle of the antipasto bar one enters into the comparative calm of the main dining room and outside terrace that both provide a serene setting for superior dining. This area is flanked on one side by a private dining room that is enclosed with floor to ceiling glass etched with hand-written Italian translations like; Famiglia (family), Recordi (memories), Cucina (food), and Vini Rossi (red wine), rustic farm table, and wine display. This area provides for a visual but quite retreat for a special family gathering. At the far end of the main dining room is the mercato (Italian Market) that bustles with excitement and culinary abundance by morning and on special occasions. On the other end of the dining room is another private dining room featuring a rustic wood planked table, wine display, Italian wall mural and spectacular ocean views. The exterior patio terrace is a place for both serene contemplation as well as a vantage point to survey and celebrate the spectacular views. That patio embraces a contemporary lifestyle with a modern fire-pit, a favorite spot for summer dining or a light bite. Field stone retaining walls create a transition from the patio and the working herb gardens to the expansive grounds and ocean beyond.
